Qualified as an expert witness for plaintiff on federal and state coal mining law and regulations, environmental regulations, and permitting procedures. UMWA v. Kitt Energy, et al., Case No. CA87-822. Testified in deposition and at trial.
March, 1997 Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania. Expert witness for defendant on adequacy of representation, legal work, and billing practices by law firm in an environmental case. Feldstein, Grinburg, Stein & McKee v. Howard Jackson Trickett, No. A.D. 94-5738. Testified at trial.
June, 1997 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. Retained as an expert witness for plaintiff on adequacy if legal representation and legal work performed by a law firm on real estate matter with environmental considerations. Report submitted prior to trial. Case settled. Albert T. Summers, et al. v. Jackson & Kelly, et al., Case No. 2:94-9437.
February, 1998 Circuit Court of Greenbriar County, West Virginia. Retained as an expert witness for third-party defendent on attorney-client relationship. Report submitted before trial.
